Here is what we made or saw at this month's club. I got a taste of Halloween in me, so we went all out on the Halloween stuff. We also used the Bigshot, which I'm really liking at the moment. It was especially good Sunday when the power went out after Hurricane Ike went through and knocked out all the power (it doesn't need electricity to run). The biggest storm here in 30 years they said. Who would have guessed Hurricane force winds in Kentucky. So many people are without power at the moment and some with some pretty good damage. Everyone continue to pray for all those affected by Hurricane Ike and Gustav.
We made treat basket ideas. We made the baskets and items to put in them - covered suckers and covered peppermint patties. We also made the cello topper which I got the idea from SU's magazine. The cello bags were filled with candy corn and went really well with the orange ribbon.
Well here is what you see on the above photo. For the Big Shot: The basket and blooms die made into a basket, with it's coordinating tag. The top note die used for cello bag toppers.
Also used: Stamps: batty for you and Eat, Drink & be Scary from the new holiday mini available Oct. 1st.
Inks: black, pumpkin pie, old olive, elegant eggplant markers
papers: same as the inks, plus the ghostly greetings dsp
accessories: black and orange grosgrain ribbon, 1 3/8" circle punch, scallop circle punch, 1" circle punch, glue dots, dimensionals, sticky strip
This second picture is some more examples - these are a couple of the one's my club members did. We all used the same supplies, just picked different sheets of the dsp.
I hope you enjoy and get some good ideas.
