I hope everyone is staying warm and safe tonight. We got lucky this time and the bulk of the snow missed us this time. We only got about an inch but the wind is freezing today.

I just realized this isn't a very good picture of this card. It's much nicer in person. You can't see the variation much on the picture. It's colored with both pretty in pink and real red. Even the words go from light to dark. That was done with markers. It was a fairly quick and easy project which is my thing lately it seems. It also showcases a different bow.

For this card I used pink piroutte, real red and whisper white paper. I stamped this from a Happy Heart using pretty in pink, real red and old olive markers (varying the shades from light to dark). The ribbon is real red. To make the bow - you cheat. You make a circle with a piece of ribbon put together with glue dots, then you wrap a smaller piece around it and adhere it together then you glue dot the bow to the card on top of another piece of ribbon wrapped around. It's really quick and easy. You ought to try it. Hope you enjoy this idea and have a "Happy Heart" today.
